L’Orient-Le Jour (www.lorientlejour.com), French-language daily newspaper – Beirut
This newspaper was born on 1st September 1970 following the merging of two influential Lebanese French-language daily: L’Orient, founded in Beirut in 1923 by Gabriel Khabbaz and Georges Naccache, and Le Jour, founded in 1935 by Michel Chiha.
